Together with the economist and collector Bert Bakker, Johan Bosch van Rosenthal published a number of articles on the art market in Het Financieele Dagblad (Dutch equivalent of the Financial Times). This culminated in the publication of a practical guide to the art market: "Onschatbare Waarde - over het kopen en verkopen van kunst en antiek" (Invaluable Value - on the buying and selling of art and antiques). So far, this book is only available in Dutch. Used as a gift for clients by both banks and other financial institutions, this publication was reprinted twice.
